Payments that reconcile themselves.
The bill amount goes from the POS straight to the card machine - no re-keying, no mismatches - and the payment reconciles against the bill automatically.

Functionality
What EDC integration does
Amount pushed to the terminal
Settle a bill and the exact amount appears on the card machine - the biller never types it twice.
No re-keying, no mismatches
The classic EDC error - ₹1,240 billed, ₹1,204 charged - can’t happen when the terminal takes its number from the bill.
Auto reconciliation
Each terminal payment ties back to its bill. Day-end isn’t a hunt through charge slips - it’s already matched.
Pine Labs, Payswiff, PhonePe, Razorpay
DINO integrates with EDC terminals from Pine Labs, Payswiff, PhonePe and Razorpay - the machines your customers already tap on.
Cards and UPI at the point of service
Integrated terminals take cards and UPI - the customer pays how they like, and either way it records against the bill.
Works with split bills
When a table splits the bill, each share can be settled on the terminal - every payment still lands against the right bill. Explore →
Integrated with leading EDC terminals
How it works
A card payment, end to end
-
1
The bill is settled to card
The biller taps settle - the exact amount appears on the EDC terminal. Nothing is typed twice.
-
2
The guest pays their way
Card or UPI on the same integrated terminal - machines from Pine Labs, Payswiff, PhonePe and Razorpay.
-
3
The payment ties to its bill
Each terminal payment records against the bill it settled - automatically, at the moment it happens.
-
4
Splits settle share by share
When a table splits the bill, each guest’s share goes to the terminal in turn - every payment still lands against the right bill.
-
5
Day-end is already done
Card totals match bill totals because they were never entered separately - no hunt through charge slips.
Outcomes
What changes at day-end
Day-end closes itself
Card totals match bill totals because they were never entered separately.
Reconciled by design.Counter errors disappear
No fat-fingered amounts on the terminal - what’s charged is what was billed, always.
Billed = charged.Checkout gets quicker
One tap sends the amount; the customer pays; done. Seconds saved on every card payment.
Faster settles.Disputes get rarer
Every charge maps to an itemised bill - “what was this for?” has an answer on record.
A trail that’s actually there.Where it fits
Counters where card and UPI dominate
QSR counters save seconds on every settle, and those seconds are the queue; table-service restaurants get clean splits and card payments without leaving the table conversation; food courts stop reconciling a drawer of charge slips at midnight.
It is a property of DINO billing rather than an add-on - the bill drives the terminal, so the integration is only ever one number, sent once.
Questions, answered.
Which card machines does DINO work with?
DINO integrates with EDC terminals from Pine Labs, Payswiff, PhonePe and Razorpay.
How does the integration work at the counter?
When a bill is settled by card, the POS pushes the exact amount to the terminal. The customer pays, and the payment is recorded against that bill automatically.
What does this fix, practically?
Two things: re-keying errors - the terminal never gets a mistyped amount - and reconciliation, since day-end card totals already match billing with no charge-slip hunting.
Can customers pay by UPI on the terminal?
Yes. Integrated terminals accept cards and UPI, and either way the payment reconciles against the bill.
Does it work when a bill is split?
Yes. Each guest’s share can be settled on the terminal, and every payment still ties back to the right bill.
Do I need special hardware from NukkadShops?
You need a supported EDC terminal from Pine Labs, Payswiff, PhonePe or Razorpay - DINO connects your billing to it.
What is an EDC machine?
EDC stands for electronic data capture - it is the card terminal at the counter, the machine guests tap or insert a card into, which also accepts UPI. DINO integrates with EDC terminals from Pine Labs, Payswiff, PhonePe and Razorpay, so the amount comes from the bill instead of being typed in.
